Key Facts

The six localities of Aberdeenshire, which include Marr, Garioch and Buchan, are overseen by a joint board of the Aberdeenshire Council and NHS Grampian. Five locality plans have been developed for the region alongside an Equality Outcomes Report, published in 2016, which sets out the areas of focus from 2016 to 2020. Around 31 GP practices serve the area which has a population of around 262,000.
