The region is divided into three localities: Clackmannanshire, rural Stirling, and Stirling city with the Eastern Villages, Bridge of Allan and Dunblane. The locality profiles provide comparative information on a range of health and care factors, including early cancer death rates, mental health statistics, and alcohol related hospital stays. As of July 2018 there were 28 GP surgeries for the regions' combined population of approximately 145,000 people.
