Key Facts

With just under 90,000 inhabitants, over 70 square miles, West Dunbartonshire is served by 16 GP practices (as of July 2018).

The most recent public performance report showed care services in the region were the third best performing in Scotland, while improvements in delayed surcharge were reported and 81% of patients were said to rate their care or support as good or excellent. Such achievements are said to have been made despite “widespread transport and infrastructure problems which affect the whole of West Dunbartonshire”.
