NHS Health Scotland is a public health body working to reduce health inequalities and improve health. The board’s main roles include providing evidence of what works to reduce health inequalities; working across all sectors in Scotland to put such evidence into action; and supporting national and local policy makers to design and evaluate interventions that help build a fairer, healthier Scotland.
